A step-by-step guide to the IntegriTool digital employee interview

Contracted employers or HR-professionals log into their account, which is stored on a secure server. Once logged into the IntegriTool system, individual candidates’ personal details are added to the system; the online interview may be carried out in-house at the company’s premises, or at any other location with internet access. An email is sent to the candidate with a web link to the secure IntegriTool interview, and once clicked, the interview starts to run.

All questions are multiple-choice and appear on the computer screen; each question has to be answered within a certain time-frame, and pertains to ethical matters such as theft, substance abuse and bribery. Depending on the answers given, this revolutionary, adaptive system chooses the questions that follow, based on the candidates’ previous answers and the time taken to respond.

The interview takes about 35 – 45 minutes. Once completed, a clear and understandable report is immediately available to the employer. The report shows issues of concern that can be highlighted and discussed in more detail with the candidate during a personal interview.
